As I mentioned early on, I ruled out using it because I didn't have the MANY
accessories I'd need to pull that off. You realize how far away you have to
be from a 60" wide map to fill the frame with a 300mm or longer telephoto?
(Hint: the width of a home lot in Las Vegas). Even with what I have now, I
might not even be able to string together enough 5m TTL Cords and
Multiconnectors.

I'll try and do one lens with flash and see if it matters much. That means
adding a filter, though (for color correction on Fujichrome 64T).

I get lots of comments about doing things that would likely result in higher
lens performance. The bottom line has always been to duplicate a real world
shooting scenario. That is why I didn't choose a slow Kodachrome (yikes,
Kodachrome 40 Type A, how expensive!), weight the tripod down with bricks on
three legs, shoot 400 and 600mm lenses with flash, etc. Most of us use on a
regular basis a mainstream tripod with ISO 50-100 speed film. Thus the
results are most relevant to those users, even if I had to choose a Type B
film and a flat subject for logistical and interpretative sake.
