Since I received a few requests for print samples, I thought about what would be
the best print samples given the current state of art.
I understand that the MD5000 has an improved printing mode over the
photorealistic mode on the MD1300. Instead of having three samples in different
densities of the dye-sub prints, perhaps one can be in this improved printing
mode from the MD5000.
Since I don't own this MD5000, I am looking for a volunteer to provide us a few
sample prints using the same testpict.psd or testpict.tif file. The
testpict.psd available on the Photoshop 4.0 CD has a higher resolution and it
prints better a single hair discernible on the forehead above the woman's left
eyebrow on a dye-sub print.
Please contact me off-list about the details.
Thanks in advance for any volunteers.
