Unfortunately, one now has to look to see what camera was used for any
particular test, and what techniques/aids employed in the test BEFORE making
any comparative conclusions. Alas, the 180mm f/2.8 test was done with a OM-1
w/ mirror lockup. Based on the results of a 180mm f/2.8 with
teleconconverter and the lens hood resting on a second tripod, I would
predict that the 180mm f/2.8 will perform better using mirror and auto
aperture prefire on an OM-4(T)(Ti) or OM-2S or OM-2000, than with an OM-1.
