I have yet to find that Canadian photographer Freeman Patterson's books are
anything but an inspiration, a delight, and an education whenever I read
them. The ones I have in order of publication are:
Photography for the joy of it 1977
Photography of natural things 1982
Photography and thr art of seeing 1985
Photographing the world around you 1994
Shadow Light, A photographer's life 1996
Odysseys 1998
I would recommend any one of his books without hesitation.
