I have recently acquired an OM4T and F280 flash :-)
I have a T32. Can anyone provide a comparison of the
two? I'm trying to decide which to keep and which to
sell...
They're like apples and oranges. If you can afford it, keep them both!
T32:
* more powerful
* can use multiple T-series flashes with TTL exposure
* accepts external power
* automatically sets camera to 1/60th (except OM-2 and manuals)
* no better than a manual flash for fill
F280
* use at any shutter speed
* simple to use for fill
* guide number goes way down at high shutter speeds
* cannot use multiple flashes in auto mode
* does not accept external power
In short, the F280 is sort of a "one trick pony." I feel the T32 is
more versatile, but my bias is toward studio lighting. If you only
use a flash on-camera, and never expect to use more than one, the
F280 might be better for you.
