Has anyone tried this time exposure method?
Not with an OM-2000, though I've used a similar
method to obtain time exposures with a Konica T-3.
The T-3 has a lock/unlock "collar" around the shutter
button which allows one to lock the shutter button
in a depressed (shutter open) position. Turning the
collar to the "unlock" position causes the shutter
button to pop back up, closing the shutter.
Useful for really long exposures, where the several
seconds spent fussing with the controls has no effect
on overall image sharpness...
