Yes, this is the button that releases the grip. You will have to keep
wiggling it. If you're looking at the grip from the front, you slide the
button down, push it in, release the grip from the drive, and it pivots
down and away (towards the back of the camera). In fact, it goes on just
the reverse of the way it is attached to the drive
