Although I am not familiar with the Mamiya Super-23 with 6x7 back, have you
considered the Mamiya rangefinders?
I have one in the form of the Mamiya 6 with three lenses which I bought used in
Japan. A bit bigger than the 35mm SLR, but one can hand-hold this easily
because there is no mirror inside the body. A very quiet shutter. Flash sync
to 1/500sec.
While the Mamiya 6 and 6MF were discontinued, there is the new Mamiya 7II.
