Yes there has been a lot of BS going around lately.
There has also been a lot of "who I am" letters.
For sure we can't keep this going for long but
there seemed to be less of what would be called on topic.
It took up the slack and then some.
It also gave us a chance to understand each other better, which
may help prevent such negative postings as William Sommerwreck
had made before leaving the list.
I feel it had been a good exercise for us.
Like all the off topic floods, this too will recede.
I agree that we need to do something about discussing and critiquing
the contests on this list.

Do you agree that ADITL is not a contest or a call for critique?
You are right about a flood of kudos and that would most likely
dominate the conversation for a while each contest.
We are talking about once or twice a year for ADITL and
three or four times a year for contests.
If people don't want postings about it, why do it?

How about an opt-in list for critiques and contests?
