Ken,

There's the possibility that it won't be that simple. I have to admit I'm
tempted to leave the list as well (but that won't be such a loss, I know
;-).
My motivation is that the amount of mails really has become beyond
my capacity to read it. I could skip certain threads, but have always
felt I would miss the serendipity effect that way, which I basically like.
Now if everyone would restrain from all those (too) cleverly one-liner
posts, that might help. There's no need to prove that you're clever,
humurous, etc. After all, that's why you are on this list, aren't you?
Hope I don't have to witness 'death of a mailing list'. But there's a
first time for everything. If it happens anyway: to everyone who
contributed to this list, in the past and future: thanks. I really enjoyed
it and hope I will do so for quiet a while.
