Even more seriously, fall is is most dangerous time to be hiking the slots.
That dry waterfall of 6 feet may be 20 feet deep when that thunderstorm dumps
its load 20 miles away. Is that a train I hear coming? I didn't see any
tracks around. And the sky looks clear from the slit I see above. These may
be the last thoughts of some unfortunate souls.
If your wife worries about earthquakes, comets and tidal waves like mine, I
wouldn't know how to break this news to her.
