<<I also tried shooting the night with a Velvia last night, and am extremely
interested in getting that film developped asap as the results were -
varied - to say the least. Tried out both 28-48/4 and 100/2.8, at 28/4 the
autoexp was 46 secs - at 48/4 it was 10 secs and at 100/4 it was _fast_ ...
same metering, same sky, same everything.

Not so weird really.
Did the 28mm shot include more dark areas?
Was the 48mm scene more average?
Was the 100mm framed tighter on a lighted area?
Did you use the same f stop setting for all shots?
A spot meter would help.
