Got into a discussion with a friend last night. We were discussing the
numbers of houses in diff. systems, new gadgets, reasons for changing
numbers etc. (She is, of course, non-oly) She was explaining why her camera
system manufactured so many houses in plastic - to make them nice and
light! And I thought, well I've tried carrying your camera, which is a
plastic one, and it can't compete with my OM-1. Sheesh, having to make
plastic cameras to make them light enough to carry... ;-D
I also tried shooting the night with a Velvia last night, and am extremely
interested in getting that film developped asap as the results were -
varied - to say the least. Tried out both 28-48/4 and 100/2.8, at 28/4 the
autoexp was 46 secs - at 48/4 it was 10 secs and at 100/4 it was _fast_ ...
same metering, same sky, same everything.
Weird..... ;-)
