The Classic Bug Man spaketh these words of wisdom:
>> So PLEASE don't think I'm trying to preach to you, I have no right to
do that, but I 'm only saying that I don't want to see this deteriorate into
name-calling. I am proud as anything to be accepted into this wonderful group
of intelligent human beings and I have benefitted greatly from being here,
and for that I thank you. But it sickens me to see some postings attack
another person. What gives any of us the right to do that? Can someone tell
me? We are as diverse a group as you can get; don't forget our list goes
beyond national, cultural, religious and political boundaries and as such I
would hope we stay tolerant of each other's backgrounds and beliefs.Sure,
maybe there's no harm in going off topic from time to tine, but that's no
reason to scream or lose your sense of decency toward one another, no? We run
the risk of losing quite a few subscribers if this continues, and that would
be a shame.
>>
I think these kinds of discursions are quite interesting.
But I must also agree that no one should attack another person on a personal
level. It's not right, and it's not worth it.
