Hi folks,
I've got two Zuikos', a 28/2 and 135/2.8, that have more than a fair amount
of cleaning scratches on their front elements. On the 28/2 they appear as
small random lines. On the 135/2.8 it's more of a "dust storm" grouped
towards the center of the front element.
How do I test for deterioration?
What kind of deterioration is most likely?
Is there anything I can do to repair them? (Cost effectively, of course)
Is there any way to compensate for their flaws, i.e., can I still use them
for highly detailed scenes but stay away from broad tonal subjects? (forest
interiors Vs. sky)
TIA,
Tim
