Many thanks for the lens tests and the timely Tamron 400 results!  The 
Tamron 400 data came just as I was pondering my packing list for the next 
safari.  So, in goes the Zuiko 1.4x-A, out goes the Tamron 1.4x!  Now I have 
to decide whether to keep the Tamron TC or cast it out on the eBay.  The 
results also made me think about my choice of apertures.  If you spend the 
bucks on a fast lens, one tends to use it wide open.  Looks like there is 
good reson to find a way to shoot stopped down more than I have.
All of the above points out the practical use of such testing.  Thanks 
again.
