Someone, I forget whom, was looking for a simple means of going from landscape
to
portrait orientation using a monopod.
I just noticed in a Benbo brochure that they have a single axis tilting plate
which
resembles a pan and tilt head except it only tilts. It has a projecting handle
to
effect desired movement. With a camera mounted sideways the desired transition
from
horizontal to vertical could easily be achieved via the handle which would
project
to the side.
