A friend of mine has an IS-100 that has recently developed a problem with
the built-in flash. When the camera decides it needs to use the flash a
lightening-bolt symbol begins to blink in the viewfinder. When the flash has
charged the symbol should stop flashing and remain on until the photo is
taken. The problem is that the symbol never stops blinking, and the flash
never fires when the photo is taken.
The batteries are OK. Any suggestions about what could be causing the
problem, and how to fix it (:->), would be greatly appreciated.
