Hi all,
I have upgraded an old dead Metz 45/019 battery unit (Oly content: requires
SCA 320 adapters) with 6 new NiMH 1,200 mA cells. since the circuitery is
also slightly different (I had to change the bulb too and I soldered a 12V
one, maybe I had better putting a 6V one...) from before and I cannot trust
the protection against overcharge as before with the old 400 mA NiCd (at
least I am concerned with) I am in doubt regarding the voltage I can reach
without damaging the cells (or my flashes!). Is it kosher to go beyond 8V
(that is 1.33 for each cell)?
thanks,
Marco
