Same points, different emphasis. It's weaker than the T-32, and it's
jam packed with features you can't use right now. Do you need an
"Autofocus Illuminator"? Can you use "Super FP"? In its defense, it
DOES have a high profile and seems to work OK on the shoe (it's probably
better ON the shoe than the T-32). My main disappointment revolves
around the fact that I was ignorant and didn't understand the
limitations of Super FP. It works as advertised - it's just that I
haven't learned how to use it to maximum effectiveness, yet. (my fault,
it's been 20 years since I've needed to do GN calculations) So, for me
it's a slightly heavy, slightly expensive, slightly weak rather ordinary
flash.
The T-32 does everything you said you needed to do, and the combination
with the Power Bounce Grip 2 gives you the ability to both get it
off-shoe AND carry extra power. As I said, this combo is on my "buy
soon" list - so I'm voting with my feet. I'll still find a use for both
the T-45 and the F280 - but I wish I had purchased the T-32+BG2 FIRST.

I haven't had the occasion to check on availability (because my original
equipment works just fine). But, the T-45 is on my "do not resuscitate"
list. If it goes bad in any way, it's slated for the museum. I think
the T-32 + BG2 does everything the T-45 will do, but better. (anyone
who knows better..please feel free to jump in here)
Now...if you really think you'd rather have a T-45 or an F280, I might
be willing to sell one, or both (well, probably not). I just can't
RECOMMEND either, based on your description of what you will use it for.
