A recent "X Files" episode was very loosely based on Weegee (Arthur
Fellig). In this episode, a photographer had the uncanny ability to predict
when a person was about to die, and took a picture of the event. (In real
life, Weegee was the only civilian allowed to have a police radio, which
better accounted for his uncanny ability.)
This is probably doubly off-topic, but I was pleased to see a modern TV
show pull up a bit of photo history.
