By "absorbent," do you mean "saturated"?
I have mentioned here before that there is a certain
three-dimensionality to the 200mm, f/5.0 Zuiko that is particularly
pleasant, and resembles the same quality I find in the
Schneider-Kreuznach Xenotar as used in the Rollei TLR and Linhof 6 x 9
cameras.
I've not looked at this quality in the 50 mm f/3.5; perhaps that is what
you mean. Gotta go take more aufname!
