For the purpose I described in my original message (taking pics of
telescopes in domes), an additional 14 degrees is indeed a "big deal".
Why? Because in a telescope dome, you can only back up so much to get
the telescope fully in frame. And the walls of many telescope domes are
fairly close to the telescope itself, especially these days when
telescopes have fairly short focal ratios and folded light paths.
