Olympus woke up to that fact beginning in 1983. The 180mm f/2, the 250mm f/2
and the 350mm f/2.8 are all IF and ED (extra low dispersion). The latter two
also incorporate "close focus aberration correction."
I would call the 300mm f/4.5 Zuiko very good rather than excellent. The 350mm
f/2.8 gets the overall excellent nod.
IMHO, Tamron's Adaptall 2 IF and ED telephotos make up for the shortcomings in
the Zuiko telephoto lineup when viewed from a price/performance ratio.
