Hi all,
Thanks for all the input on red-eye with the T20 and other flashes. Last
night I stuck with my Viv 283 and Omni-bounce (head at 45 deg. angle) on
camera, because I *know* that doesn't give red-eye over the distances I was
at last night, and I couldn't fluff it for those shots. Tonight I'm doing
less vital shots over the same range (about 1.5 - 7 metres) and I'm going to
try the T20 on camera - getting it off-camera pretty much negates the
reasons I'm attracted to the T20 - compact, light on-camera flash - much
easier for handling. I'll use a red-eye 'fix-up' pen if I need to, though
I'm never too happy with that result compared to getting clean shots to
start with; in the end, I may just have to stick with the 283 for most work,
and deal with the size/weight thing.
Cheers
Andy
