Urk.
I don't own a -4 or a -4T[i] yet (next week, I hope), but I'm a little too
leery of the reports of electronic failures to put it at the top of the list.
Same for the -2SP. I guess I'm torn between a -2n or a -1n; the pure
mechanical reliability of the -1 weighs in favor of it, but the
unavailability of the right battery for it weighs against it. I have two
-2s, one of which I've owned for over 20 years andthe other looks like it's
been through several wars but still runs reliably (and THAT came as no small
surprise); I also have a -1 and a -1n, both of which may well go in to
John's shop for the MR-9 mod (if I can't figure out how to come up with
reliable regulation myself, that is).
Boy, Charlie, you don't ask easy questions, do you?
