Well, the closest I've got to the faster 24mm/2.0 is in the shop,
deciding not to buy it because of its weight. I am very happy with
the 24mm/2.8, especially its light weight and 49mm filter size. But
you should be aware that it is not as well corrected for distortion
(i.e., pincushion/barrel) as the faster lens. Since I use it for
landscapes this doesn't matter to me. IMHO there's no point eliminating
distortion from an architectural shot without also fixing keystoning
with a tilt/shift lens, so it still doesn't matter to me. YMMV.

28mm is neither here nor there. I have a cheap Sigma for this length
and haven't used it for years.
