I have a P37 and wasn't satisfied with the original Projar (65mm??) so in
combing the used bins I found a Haminar 70-120, which is a tremendous
improvement over the Projar.

I just fixed his Rollei (P37 or P39 model I think, with AF) which just
needed a good cleaning of the old grease. Afterward, we watched
about 8 trays of old slides, some dating back to the 60s.
(Kodachrome is still pretty amazing after all these years!)
Are the slide carousels still available here? I was thinking of looking
for a used slide projector someday, and wondered if the Rollei is
still in the game, or if I should just seek the more common Kodak. >
I think the AF works better with the Rollei and the Haminar is a very sharp
lens but the Kodak has a stack loader. One can also buy very high quality
lens for the Kodak models. I thinks its very convenient to place all slides
right side down in the stack loader and run through a few days worth of
shooting quickly. I don't give very many slide shows (the dreaded family
vacation slide shows aside) so I don't use the round trays very much.
Did Rollei ever make a stack loader for the P37?
