Hello Soenke,

The only reason I have is, that the 310 has no current limiter built
in. That is the reason why you must not use NiCad batteries: the only
current limiting is done by the internal resistance of the batteries!
This resistance is higher with alkalines than with NiCads. Weird and
bad electronic design....
Anyway, if you parallel two 310's, maybe (I don't know for sure!) the
currents in the circuits could get too strong as well. 
What I am sure of is, that these machines were not designed properly.
I wouldn't risk blowing them up by interconnecting them....
