Hi Chris,
We use "spanner wrench" to refer to tools that can be used on vehicles
which are broken down on either the left or right side of the road. ;-)
Seriously, I was sure it was a redundancy, and that George was undoubtedly
trying to be inclusive for you folks closer to the mother tongue. But
George's follow-up proved me wrong. I learn something on this list every
time I log in.
