Although that story isn't about me, I did have that happen! A couple of years
ago our house got broken into and amongst the items stolen were my OM-1n and
OM-2n bodies and various lenses. The insurance company happily replaced
the bodies with an OM-3Ti and OM-4Ti. My 50/1.4 also turned into a 50/1.2.
Makes me wish I had stocked up on a few other lenses! They did however
balk at my suggestion of replacing the 35-70/4 with the 35-80/2.8 :-)
