You have answered your question. Stick with the OM1, unless you need OTF
flash. The OM-2 is cheaper than the 4. Everyone raves about the spot
metering, and it would be good (I have a 1n, 2SP and 4Ti- last one
borrowed), but I meter off an average scene and take the photo. As Joel once
posted, it is a spot meter.
