The Olympus 35 EC2 is program mode only, and has an electronic shutter,
i.e. if won't fire w/o batteries. The camera needs a pair of PX640 Hg
cells (1.35v each). These Hg cells are VERY hard to find, and rather
expensive ($10-12 each!). Duracell makes an alkaline substitute (640A)
-- also quite expensive ($5-7 each).
The EC2 has zone focusing. The more upscale 35 ECR adds a range finder,
and moves the CdS meter cell onto the lens, so it can account for filters.
The lens on both EC2 and ECR is identical to 35RC: 42/f2.8 E.Zuiko.
