<< In Italy there's a guy who claims he has found a way to use an 88-101 with
conventional OM lenses (Zuikos and compatibles) seeing the data in
viewfinder and also using program mode settings. He asks some money for
telling his story, but maybe there's one among us who knows the trick
already? I suspect a manual adpter 2 should be needed, too, as the lens by
itself cannot tell the camera its widest aperture.

I might call it "Vaporware" like when software companies marketed only an idea
and not one line of program code was ever written. But, perhaps I am too
harsh. How was this gentleman going to transfer the aperture information from
the lens to the camera body? I think that with the OM77 (101) you cannot
adjust the aperture on the lens, and only by varying the program shift can you
change the aperture. If the camera dictates the aperture, how is it going to
relay this info. to a purely mechanical lens at the time of exposure.
