I too think that eventually the Om system will wither away unless Olympus does something. The reintroduction of the Om-3 and the 35-80 were nice but at the price thay are I don't think that I will be buying any any time soon. The Om-2000 while I like it better than my wifes Pentaxs is not up to the quality of my Om-1. Why instead of the 2000 did they not Reintroduce that? I like my Om equipment but if I were starting from scratch I don't know if I would buy into the system today. Problem is I have not seen any Camera system that has the same feel and compactness that the Olympus does.
