I believe this topic was just covered - to reset the mirror in an OM-2, move
the shutter speed dial to B. In an OM-2n, the battery check serves as a reset
switch also.
As I have just found out, in an OM-10 which does not have a reset (aside from
adding fresh batteries...) one can push down on the lens stop-down lever, just
inside the lens mount on the body, which serves to reset the mirror. I
would avoid touching the mirror at all costs...
