I had a Tamrom 28mm f2.8 that I bought new in about 1978.  This was before
Tamron Adaptall mounts.  The lens was not so hot.  It had noticeably less
contrast and sharpness than my 50mm f1.8.    I traded it in for a 28mm f3.5
Zuiko, which I noticed was a lot better than the Tamron.
