Hi John:
> What are the best lens buys?
Hum, a question of definition, again. How about, "the ones you find well
under market values." What is included in that is pure chance! A historical
approach, "ones which have greatly appreciated over the years since you bought
it." Those are, in retrospect, GREAT buys. A bargain hunters approach, "ones
which are cheap." The latter includes a few early discountinued lens, like
the 28 mm f/3.5
>From my perspective, the best buy of them all is probably the 50 mm f/1.8,
which often sells for 1/3rd of it lowest ever new price. Next, using this
line of reason, is the 50 mm f/1.4 The 35-70 mm f/4.0 is also available well
below it's lowest ever new price.
