John,
Gary Reese has recently suggested that the OM-4 is among the best values
right now. But you might not find any but fairly worn ones for $250,
especially if you want a lens too. You should be able to find a good OM-1
or 1n with a 50/1.8 or even 1.4 for that money. Perhaps with luck you
could find a good user OM-2n -- an excellent all around performer.
You'll get lots of responses to your question. Mine of course is the
correct one ;-)
