This only occurs with those cameras which have the meter in the prism
housing, and then only in manual exposure mode (this means you always
lose if you use one of these screens with an OM-1).  Those bodies with
the manual metering cell in the bottom of the mirror housing, utilizing
a secondary mirror behind the main mirror to direct incoming light down
to the meter cell, aren't affected.
