There has been alot of praise of the Zuiko 500mm Reflex (mirror) and other
mirror lens these last few days. I bit the Zuiko 500mm "Mirror" bullet a year
or so ago and I must say, I am not at all impressed. I even thought I had
"God forbid" a Lemon Zuiko until I found a copy of "The OM System Lens
Handbook". On pages 58 & 59 are some photos made with the 500mm Reflex. All
photos show the same problem I have. About 250f the left and right side
(horizonal) of the photo is VERY DARK and the center is almost over exposed.
Is this a common problem with other "Reflex" manufactures lens? I personally
find the Zuiko almost useless. I think $$'s are better spent elsewhere. The
only reason I MAY?? keep this lens, is it is light and small for humho
vacation snapshots and then crop the print.
