The color of the palm will not change much, regardless of the color of
the rest of the skin.
BTW I´ve just seen some peasant scenes, pictures from the pre WWI China.
I wondered, why the people on the photo had such a dark skin. The
solution was simple, at that time, photographic emulsions were only blue
sensitive and I´m sure the farmer had a taned skin, which means reduced
blue reflection, so the people were relativly under exposed.
