Don't worry Frank, I got your humour.
This message is intended as a *lighthearted* observation:-)
Apart from the fact that humour and English change subtly as they cross the
Atlantic (I spent 2 years instructing at the F-16 school at MacDill AFB in
Tampa, I should know), I believe that Denton, as a businessman, was perhaps
sensitive to an "unjust" suggestion that his prowess was lacking in his
bread-earning role; whereas, people like me (and you I suspect Frank in the NL
meterology area) work for a government and our prowess as businessmen is not
under everyday test. I am studying an MBA, so hope to improve my mastery of
commercialism so that I can get a "proper" job outside the Royal Air Force, but
even so... :-)
Oly content: how much are you newly digital Zuikoids planning to pay for an
ES-10 scanner - in UK or Europe or HK? Does it scan negs as well as slides?
And: are Zuikoids who buy Camedias still candidates for the List? (I can't
afford one of those as well :-)
The M*n*l*t* Dimage, at £385 plus tax (about $616) looks good value in the UK -
res up to about 2300 dpi.
