Hi Marko,
I've always been a manual guy myself, OM1 & OM3. But I bought a 4T a couple
of years ago when I got into macro. This past Xmas while visting the wife's
folks in Idaho ( (-10 to + 10F) I decided to shoot the nephews, 4 & 6 years
old, outside playing in the snow with the 4T. With in 10 minutes, she locked
- up. Took it inside and replaced the batteries and all was well. The next
day we all went to Jackson Hole,Wy. to take a sleigh ride in the Elk Refudge
(0 F). I took the 4T and OM 3, I kept the 4T inside my coat the best I could
and in 10 to 15 minutes it still froze up. The OM3 kept on going for almost
an hour. The next day was sled day for the kids, I was out for at least 2
hours in (+10 F) with my old trusty OM1 and motor drive hanging around my neck
with no problems. The lesson for me is, when in cold conditions, I'll use my
manuals.
Good Luck !
