The FAQ claims:
>B6) What are the differences between an OM-1 and an OM-1N?
> The OM-1N has redesigned film advance and rewind release levers,
> a direct contact inside for Recordata backs, a flash
> ready/sufficient flash LED in the viewfinder, and
> automatic X-sync with Shoe 4.
I'm a bit puzzled by this last one (automatic X-sync).
Comes this all-mechanical direct descendant of the mother of all OM
equipped with a little dwarf that responds to electric signals emitted
from an activated T20 or T32, reaching out his little hands to
"automatically" set the shutter ring at 1/60? If this is the case, I
want some refund on my OM-3, because I think the dwarf is missing. Or
is it? Maybe it only comes out when the moon is full? Or could this
part of the FAQ be a copy and paste demon?
P.S. 1 - I don't have have an OM-1n (I've been treated for that), so I
can't verify.
P.S. 2 - No Paul v.T., when I want an OM-1n I'll buy it here in Holland.
