| I own and shoot both Nikon & OM and find the lenses have decidedly
|different "flavor", but as to judgements...I like them both. The Nikons
|are warmer than the OMs. I routinely use the Nikons with the L37c clear
|filters, and the OMs with Skylight 1B filters, which I prefer to the 1-A.
Recalling that Maitani was fascinated with the M-series
Leicas and that the OM-series was his attempt to produce
M-series SLR's, wouldn't it follow that the color signature
on OM lenses was designed to conform to the colder
German-made lenses? Anyone with Leica/Contax experience
care to comment on a comparison of the color signatures
between OM and Leice/Contax optics?
