The distance from lens flange to focal plane is the same (exactly!) in OM
and F mounts. So you need those kinds of adapter rings that are in fact
bland teleconverters, that is the thing you will not like to have when
using a PC wide angle lens. >>
First I would just buy the (used) camera body for the lens that you want to
use, whether it be Olympus, N*kon or C*non. A non-top-of-the-line body won't
cost much more than an adapter and you can always resell both. Last, although
I am loathe to mention it, Cambridge Camera does sell an Olympus to Nikon
adapter. I think it has a 1 to 1.1 magnification factor to allow space for
one mount bayoneting into the other because of the similar flange to film
distances. I only mention Cambridge to make a point and not to recommend
them.
