Hello Olympians,
I´ve just read an old copy of CoFo magazin (7/90). There is an article
about "new" AF-camera bodys.
Interessting for Olympians is, that there is a picture of the Chinon
CP-9F camera which looks quite similar to the OM-707/77. It has the same
AF iluminator window than the OM body. Only the hand grip of the Chinon
is not changeable like the OM.
Is there an relation between Cosina (maker of the OM2000) and Chinon and
does the cooperation between Olympus and OEM partners last longer than
we thought?
Tech. specs. Chinon CP-9F:
Weigth: 545g
Dimensions: 150x90x50mm
Shutter: 1/2000-8s, B
Sync time: 1/60-1/100s
AF working range: EV 1-18
Average Metering range: EV 1-20
Program shift, TTL flash, Aperture priority
Richard
