Beg to differ, but my Vivitar Series 1 lens was most definitely a
28-85mm f/2.8-3.5 optic. Although I gave it away about 5years ago I
still have the insurance photographs and a repair invoice for the free
modification Vivitar implemented to convert it to OM-4 compatibility.
The lens was serial number 222002119 and the conversion carried out
under job number 74147 on 14th Feb 1985 - exactly 13 years ago!
Doesn't time fly. :-)
