You could try suction. I have an adapter for a domestic vacuum
cleaner which steps down the hose size and has a bypass to limit
suction power - perhaps you could find something similar or jury rig
something.
Other than that, I would forget about it unless some problem arises.
The old "if it isn't broken - don't fix it it" springs to mind.
